LCP provides actuarial consulting services for non-life insurance. Our non-life consultancy covers the range of traditional and emerging areas where actuarial expertise can add value, including reserving, capital modelling, risk management and reinsurance strategy.

Financial Dynamics

Problem solving for business – beyond traditional actuarial advice LCP Financial Dynamics Practice adds value by offering organisations a new dimension to risk appraisal, business modelling and valuations.
Our recent work has included advising on issues as diverse as:

  • Pricing Equity Release products
  • Risks involved in shutting down major industrial plants
  • The valuation of a luxury car brand
  • The valuation of liabilities arising from reward points
  • Valuation of intangible assets & goodwill following purchase of a business

Investment

LCP's Investment Consulting team provides high quality investment advice to trustees and sponsors of pension schemes, as well as advice to clients in the broader area of risk management.

We believe it is vital that the risks and rewards behind a client's investment policy are fully understood by the key decision makers. The consequences of an inappropriate investment policy can be enormous.

In order to ensure our clients have an appropriate policy, we:

  • identify the potentially complex and conflicting needs;
  • give clear advice on how to address those needs; and
  • help with the implementation of the chosen solution.
