About Us

Since 1947, the Henner Group designs innovative health and life insurance solutions and is a leader on the French market for group healthcare insurance. With its strong international presence, the French company has more than 1,500 employees throughout France as well as elsewhere in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. 42 different languages are spoken daily with the beneficiaries. Active in all segments of health and life insurance, Henner works with 10,000 companies of all sizes to design and manage insurance plans for some 1.5 million employees and family members based in more than 200 countries worldwide. The company has put together the world’s largest network of healthcare providers, with more than 50,000 providers in 165 countries and large partnerships in the USA, providing its members access to care wherever they are in the world.

Evaluation of historical liabilities and identifacion of the costs of existing risks and of insurance needs for the company (including benchmarking).

Assistance in the placement of the risks with insurer and optimized post close-cost projections by obtaining the adequacy of the company’s risk and the desired insurance programs.

Quantification of the costs related to changes and anticipate their future financial burden by negotiating these risks with the insurance market.

Highlighting of issues in the course of the due diligence reporting that may impact the pricing strategy and work with the client's legal advisers to craft favorable insurance-policy language.

Wellness

With employees spending more, Henner examine ways to improve employee health with wellness initiatives and programs that not only improve an individual's short-term and long-term health, but that also help curb absenteeism and presenteeism, improve productivity, and aid quicker return to work for employees on disability leave (and therefore reduce costs). Companies are now starting to offer wellness programs to remain competitive in the marketplace and as a recruitment and retention benefit (for instance smoking cessation and weight management programs).

MGAC's Network

The MGAC was founded in 1991 by independent actuarial and consulting firms from around the world who have ever since been working closely with one another in order to meet their client’s needs for international actuarial advice. The network meets regularly to discuss trends, share ideas and foster strong business relations. 

Comprising 25 actuarial consulting firms and employing over 6000 people across six continents the MGAC enables our member firms around the globe to work together to provide clients with high-quality services related to the design, administration and communication of employee benefit plans. The MGAC also has extensive links with organizations in other countries not formally represented, and is ready to assist wherever required.
